What do you print on?
Museum Grade Fine Art Paper
Hahnemuhle Photo Rag is a museum grade fine art cotton inkjet paper. The amount of ink the paper can absorb creates bold colors, rich contrast, and clarity with an accurate reproduction of detail for my work.
It is a premium paper that I use for all of my personal work. It represents my vision of how the completed image should look and is sensational under glass in a frame.
Photo rag is acid and lignin-free 100% cotton and meets the highest requirements for age resistance and archival stability.
For a modern minimalist feel, the 1/8" thick non-glare acrylic prints float slightly off the wall.
The image is fused between the acrylic and aluminum Dibond backing, which gives the appearance of depth and the edges have a diamond polished finish.
They come ready to hang with a specially constructed hidden backing frame that attaches to the supplied hanging bracket. The installation is simple and secure.
Canvas Gallery Wraps
Fine art canvas wraps are printed directly onto museum-quality canvas material using high-quality archival inks. Your choice of glossy or lustre laminate is applied to each to protect the surface of the print.
It is the perfect option for bright high-glare installations as it does not reflect light.
Satin Metal Print
With Satin Metal Prints, the medium preserves photos by an infusion of dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets, which creates a magically impressive print. The detail and resolution are at a maximum, complemented by vibrant colors.
The Satin Metal Print is smooth, even with minimal glare and a soft appearance, one of my favorite print surfaces.
The metal print can be selected with sharp or rounded corners, and all prints come with a 3/4" inset frame and wire for easy installation.
How do you create abstract images?
I use a technique that in the photography world is coined as ICM or intentional camera movement. My images are generally captured at ISO 100, f32, and anywhere from 1/10th of a second to 1-second shutter speed. As the shutter is open, I move the camera along the horizon at various speeds depending on the shutter speed's length. I use the industry-standard Lightroom to make basic color and lighting adjustments.

What print size should I choose?
Deciding on the size of the art print you are going to order can seem overwhelming at first, but there are a few ways to make this decision easier.
First and foremost, if you haven't already, I highly suggest measuring the wall space you are planning to hang the print. A general rule of thumb for hanging artwork over a piece of furniture: you don't want the print to be wider than the furniture. If you don't have a specific wall in mind, or you're not planning to hang the art over furniture, then disregard these tips.
Once you know the dimensions of your wall space, take a look at the print size options for the photo you have in mind in the print shop. Using masking tape, measure and mark out a couple of different print sizes on your wall, so you can see exactly how much space the print will take up and whether or not that size looks right for your space. This step alone is super helpful in making the right print size choice.
One thing to bear in mind: if you are planning to order a framed print, the finished frame size will be larger than the print size. The framed size will depend on the mat and the frame you choose. For example, if you chose a 16x24 print with a two-inch mat and a one-inch frame, the finished framed size will be 22x30 inches.
Final note: Don't be afraid to go big! Large prints can make a statement on your wall and have a great visual impact. Much of my photography can be printed very large, up to 40x60 inches and sometimes larger, depending on the image. Larger prints can be compelling on canvas as there is no glass or gloss to create glare, so the visual effect is bold and vibrant.
When will my order ship?
Most orders for unframed prints, canvas gallery wraps, and metal prints will ship within 7-14 business days. That said, various factors can affect turnaround time, such as order size, the amount of volume my photo lab is working with at the time (summer tends to be high season for galleries and art festivals, so orders placed from June through August can take longer than usual for this reason), shopping delays, paper or media back order by the printer or framer, etc. During the summer, I am frequently traveling to shoot new work, so orders can be delayed.
You will receive a shipping notification email and tracking information as soon as your order ships. Turnaround times vary depending on the print medium ordered, but MOST orders generally ship within the following timeframes:
Paper Prints 7-14 business days
Canvas Prints 7-14 business days
Metal Prints 7-14 business days
Acrylic Prints 7-14 business days
Framed Prints - 14-28 business days
Please contact me within 14 days of the order date to confirm that your order has been received, processed, and shipped or is in the process of being created. If I do not receive communication from clients within 14 days of the order date, I cannot refund certain items such as unframed prints, as these are made to order by a fine art print lab, and the costs are not refundable past this window.
What is your return policy?
I take pride in my work and prints, and I want you to be thrilled with your investment in my art. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your print, or if your order has not arrived within 14 days of placing it, please contact me. Unopened prints may be returned within 14 days of delivery and/or exchanged for another print. Prints must be returned in new condition, packaged carefully in the original packaging if possible. Your refund will be issued as soon as I receive the returned print. Please contact me if you would like to arrange a return or exchange.
If you receive a damaged or defective print, please let me know within 7 days of receipt, and I will arrange for a new print to be shipped to you at no additional cost.
In the unlikely event that your order is not delivered within 14 days, please contact me right away. 99% of the time, this happens due to the shipping company's error, and I will have new prints made and shipped to you immediately. After 14 days have passed, I will be unable to issue a refund for unframed prints.
